In short. Behaivo’s data controller is Marcin Piątek Solutions. We process data so that Behaivo can work: your account, billing, contact and app features. We keep data on servers in the EU (Frankfurt), we don’t sell it to anyone, and we don’t use voice recordings to train AI. You can ask for a copy or deletion at any time by writing to hello@behaivo.com.
Data controller
Your personal data controller is Marcin Piątek Solutions, a sole proprietorship, Do Samków 5, 34-500 Zakopane, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 7361704602 (the “Controller” or “we”).

Scope and purpose of this policy
This policy describes how the personal data of users of the Website available at behaivo.com (the “Website”), the desktop App, and the mobile App intended for behaviorists’ clients (together: the “App”) is processed.
The rules differ depending on the role in which you use Behaivo:
- Website user – a person visiting behaivo.com.
- Behaviorist or trainer – a person using the desktop App in their practice.
- Behaviorist’s client – a dog owner using the mobile app at the behaviorist’s invitation (here we act as a processor).
Your rights
In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
- Right of access – you can obtain information about the data processed and its scope.
- Right to rectification – you can request correction or completion of your data.
- Right to erasure – you can request deletion of your data where there is no basis for further processing.
- Right to restriction of processing – in certain situations.
- Right to data portability – you can receive your data in a structured format (where the basis is a contract or consent).
- Right to object – to processing based on the controller’s legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent – at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
- Right to lodge a complaint – with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

We process Website users’ data to provide services electronically (making Website content available), as well as for analytics, statistical and marketing purposes.

Retention period
We keep browsing data (IP address, server logs) for as long as necessary for the proper functioning of the Website and for the limitation period of any claims. Data processed on the basis of consent – until it is withdrawn.
Hosting
The Website (www) is hosted by DHHosting (an operator based in Poland). The App runs on an OVH SAS VPS server, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. The database is operated by Supabase (Supabase Inc., 970 Trestle Glen Rd, Oakland, CA 94110, USA) — data is physically stored on AWS servers in the EU region (Frankfurt). Supabase acts as a processor; the data transfer to the USA is secured by standard contractual clauses.

Behaviorist and trainer data
If you are a dog behaviorist or trainer using the Behaivo App (desktop version), we process your data to set up an Account and provide services, handle orders and billing, meet tax and accounting obligations, handle complaints, and establish, pursue or defend against claims.
Scope of data processed
- Identification and contact data – first name, surname, email, phone, company or practice name.
- Billing data – invoice address, Tax ID (NIP) (optional).
- Access data – login, password (in encrypted form).
- Voice recordings – created within the voice-note feature, processed automatically by an AI tool to generate a case file.
Legal basis and period
The basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), tax and accounting obligations and complaint handling (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and the pursuit of claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We process data for the duration of the contract and, after it ends, for the limitation period of claims and the time required by accounting-records retention rules (generally 5 years from the end of the tax year). Providing the data necessary to set up an Account is a condition of using the App; providing other data is voluntary.

Behaviorist's client data
Jeżeli korzystasz z Aplikacji Behaivo jako klient behawiorysty (aplikacja mobilna), administratorem Twoich danych jest behawiorystka lub behawiorysta, który zaprosił Cię do korzystania z Aplikacji. Behaivo (Marcin Piątek Solutions) działa w tym zakresie wyłącznie jako podmiot przetwarzający na podstawie odrębnej umowy powierzenia przetwarzania danych.
Your behaviorist is responsible for providing you with full information about data processing (Art. 13 GDPR). If you have questions, please contact them directly.
Scope and purpose
As a processor, we process: the dog owner’s first and last name, email address, phone number, and data about the dog and its behavior (case history, treatment plan, exercises, and confirmations of their completion). Data about a dog’s behavior and health is not personal data within the meaning of the GDPR (it concerns an animal); however, it may be accompanied by the owner’s personal data, which is protected. We process this data solely to provide technical services to the behaviorist — we do not process it for our own purposes.
Hosting of client data
A behaviorist’s client data is stored in a Supabase database on AWS servers in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany). The app server runs on an OVH SAS VPS within the EEA. Data is not transferred outside the EEA for storage; transfer to Supabase Inc. (USA) for technical support is secured by standard contractual clauses.
Marketing and newsletter
We process personal data for marketing purposes, including to send a Newsletter with information about news, App updates and special offers, to run advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and to maintain social-media profiles and communicate through them.
Legal basis and period
- Newsletter – consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any message.
- Ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads) – consent given via the CookieYes banner.
- Social-media profiles – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We process marketing data until consent is withdrawn or for the period necessary to pursue our legitimate interest, no longer than 3 years from the last contact.
Recipients and social media
Data recipients are: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), 55 rue d’Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France – an email platform (marketing and transactional) processing data within the EEA; Google LLC – Google Ads; and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited – Meta Ads, Facebook, Instagram.
